ChefDana_BioDana Pool – Managing Partner/Chief Financial Officer

Dana Pool is a native East Texan. She has 2 grown children and 2 grandsons. She has lived throughout the States and studied in China. She became part owner of Los Pinos in 2005. Dana comes from a background of entrepreneurship and management ranging from a chain of 26 convenience stores to a fine dining restaurant in the Longview area. Dana came on board at Los Pinos as Executive Chef and although still heavily involved in the restaurant is now President and director of Winery Operations. She is also very active in the Texas Wine Grape Growers Association as an Executive Board of Directors member and Region 2 Winery Director.


GeraldJones_BioGerald Jones – Managing Partner/Director of Production & Sales

Born & raised in Dallas, TX.  Resides in Gilmer, TX w/ wife, Lesa and daughter, Nesha – age 13.  Hobbies include any & all activities outdoors, a love of Texas history, and a passion for ALL things, well…TEXAS. Spent over 3 decades in DFW and 15 years devoted to a career in Film, Television & Advertising that he ultimately traded to give East Texas and, ultimately, the Texas wine industry a whirl.  Partnered with Dana Pool in 2008 with a slant toward wine production and sales/marketing.  Currently travels the great State of Texas proudly promoting Los Pinos Ranch Vineyards to over 750 stores and countless festivals, events, and wine celebrations statewide.  Passionate about making Texas wines that compete internationally.  Has an extreme slant towards customer service and spreading the good word on Los Pinos Ranch Vineyards.  Loves that pioneering spirit of the diverse, unique and award-winning Texas Wine Industry that is still alive and thriving.


Stephen Hanson – Executive Chef

Chef Stephen comes to Los Pinos with over 20 years experience. Born and raised in Doylsetown, PA, Stephen graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and quickly set out to make his mark on the culinary world. Stephen has cooked in restaurants across the country in Washington, D.C., New York, New Orleans, Orlando and most recently, Dish-Preston Hollow in Dallas.

Lesa P. Jones – Managing Partner/Director of Marketing & Events

Lesa was born and raised in Gilmer, TX.  After earning her degree in Marketing/Management from Baylor University, Lesa began her professional career in Dallas. Her background is in Marketing and Event Planning where she traveled extensively, planning tradeshows and conferences across the U.S.  After getting her fill of Corporate America, she decided to rescue her family from the concrete jungle and move back home, closer to family.  She worked for her family logging business for 9 years, but was involved in some of the winery social media marketing and event planning.  She now serves in an official capacity as Los Pinos’ Marketing & Event Manager.  She is a wife to Gerald and a Mom to Nesha, as well as two crazy dogs and one funny cat.  She enjoys cooking, traveling and of course…wine!

Arnulfo comes to Los Pinos from San Luis Potosi in Cardenas MEX, having spent over a decade in the vineyards cultivating some of the best grapes East Texas has to offer.  It is this connection to Mother Nature that allows him to proudly make wines for Los Pinos.  Arnulfo’s background in working with his hands tending to the vines brings a more natural, organic approach to Texas winemaking.  His love for making the best wines possible from fruit that we are blessed with is his passion.  Arnulfo has won numerous awards over the past 5 years of winemaking.  He resides just down the road from the winery in Pittsburg and is a dedicated family man with wife, Araceli and 5 lovely children who also aspire to work at the winery.
